JOB TITLE: Lead Infrastructure Technician

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Working under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director, designs, maintains, analyzes, documents, troubleshoots and repairs server hardware and networks. Installs new and specialized servers and reviews, monitors, and upgrades existing server systems. Must be capable of assessing and addressing high level problems.

Responsibilities include:
 System and individual support
 Troubleshooting within Windows environment
 Network support –Cisco Routers and Firewalls/HP switches
 Server Support - Physical and VMware environments, SQL 2008, Exchange 2010
 WAN monitoring and support – T1, DS3, P2P wireless
 Documentation
 Some supervisory responsibilities

Considerable preference will be given to those with Cisco and VMware certifications. Five years on the job experience in network management and maintenance is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree in a related or appropriate field, such as Computer Science, is preferred. Oral and written communication skills and the ability to face a wide array of user needs are required. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

SALARY RANGE: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (D.O.Q.)
