JOB SUMMARY:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gas,
electric, steam, and refrigerated commercial foodservice equipment and
residential appliances.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must possess an MOS Code that designates mechanical aptitude, or
an HVAC-R certificate
• Must be able to read wiring diagrams and properly use a
volt-ohm-meter
• Must be able to work alone
• Must follow all safety procedures as instructed
• Must be able to operate a full size van in daylight or at night
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long
periods if necessary, up to 4 hours
PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
fluently
• Must be able to differentiate colors and symbols in fine print
and wires
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record
• Must be able to handle pressure and stressful situations with an
even temper
• Must be able to work overtime on very short notice (e.g., One to
two hours)
• Be available to take turn “on call”, weekends and after hours
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possibly
over the weekend
• Submit to drug testing as deemed appropriate
by supervisor and/or at random
