Helping Veterans with their employment needs is my occupation. This assistance can absolutely change lives, and that makes me passionate about getting the job done. Today it is a little more personal, as the Veteran I am trying to help is one of my own. SGT Jesse Houk is a former Public Affairs Soldier in a unit where I was the Executive Officer. I had the occasion to work very closely with Jesse during a three week field exercise a few years back. Jesse worked so diligently and productively, that in the end in would have been a crime not to have awarded him for his work.
Now, Jesse has moved on to pursue his passion, and has asked for my assistance. Jesse and his lovely and talented wife are in the process of making a movie based on a script they have developed.
